About Langstaff Door Hardware Co.
Langstaff Door Hardware Co. works on the part of the door most people never look at until it fails. Closers, exit devices, hold-opens and the pivots and strikes that decide whether a door actually latches: it is a narrow trade, and doing only that is what lets us walk into a Vaughan apartment tower, look at forty fire doors in an afternoon and know which ones need a valve turned and which ones need the unit off the wall.
Most of our work is industrial, commercial, institutional and multi-residential — the distribution and manufacturing buildings through Concord and the Highway 400 and 407 employment lands, property managers with fire doors that have to hold up to an inspection, Woodbridge and Maple plaza tenants whose entrances take salt and grit all winter, schools and community centres with exit hardware and accessible operators to keep running. We are insured and WSIB covered, we do not invent problems to sell hardware, and when a closer only needs adjusting we say so and adjust it.
The other half of the job is being honest about the season. Half the emergency calls we take in January are doors that had been drifting out of adjustment since November. We would rather do one scheduled pass in the fall than three panic visits in the cold — and every job, planned or urgent, comes with a written, fixed-scope estimate before anyone touches a screwdriver.

Insured & WSIB-covered
We carry full liability insurance and WSIB coverage, and we service closers and exit hardware so fire doors close and latch on their own, the way Ontario’s Fire Code requires — serving property owners across Vaughan and the Greater Toronto Area.
